Clusters: mid-sized missional communities

30 10 2009

Bob Hopkins

The November ‘Seize the Day’ podcast is now online.

In it I’m talking to Bob Hopkins, of Anglican Church Planting Initiatives, about the ‘Clusters’ model of church – also known as ‘mid-sized missional communities.’

This is the first of three conversations with Bob Hopkins – next month, we’ll be talking about how the Clusters model balances gathering for worship and encouragement with scattering for mission.

Also in this programme we’re reviewing the new edition of ‘Perspectives on the World Christian Movement,’ edited by Ralph Winter and Steven Hawthorne.

Hi,

Thank you for the podcast and alerting me to it.

As a practical suggestion can I request that mp3′s are more useful if helpfully lablled. So for example this one could be “Clusters – mid-sized missional communities. (17 mins)” rather than SD_11 or perhaps more helpful for your own purposes and file management as “SD_11 Clusters – mid-sized missional communities. (17 mins)”. It will save users needing to rename files and they will know what they are for future refernce when scanning the mp3′s they have.

Many thanks,

Martin
