What's happened to Slipstream?
A couple of years ago, when we started working with the Evangelical Alliance on Slipstream, it consisted of a monthly podcast (presented by Krish Kandiah and David Couchman) and a regular monthly email newsletter (e-letter).
Over the past two years, the way people use the Internet has continued to change, and our understanding of how best to deliver the Slipstream resources has also been changing.
For the future, Slipstream will consist of the email newsletter - users identified email as their preferred way to receive information. This will be more frequent, shorter, and will not have a regular schedule, but will be sent out when there is something specific to say - a new resource, an upcoming event. etc.
There will also be new video and audio resources. These will be published on the Evangelical Alliance's Slipstream site, but not on this site.
In addition, there is a Facebook page and an RSS feed for Slipstream.
All of these can be accessed through the Slipstream web site.

Slipstream December 2009 - Digimission day

The December 2009 Slipstream podcast comes from the Evangelical Alliance's Digimission Day - an event to explore how technology is shaping faith, church and mission.
More and more of us are spending time online - on social networks, blogs, Twitter, and more. How do the new digital technologies change the mission of the Church? Are social media a distraction from mission or a new mission field? A wealth of helpful input from Adrian Warnock, Jonny Baker, Maggi Dawn, Mark Meynell and Krish Kandiah.
Slipstream November 2009, with Denis Alexander and Ranald Macaulay

2009 is the two hundredth anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin, and the 150th anniversary (this month) of the publication of 'On the Origin of Species.'
Evolution continues to be a contentious issue for many Christians. In this anniversary special Slipstream podcast, we talk to Denis Alexander from the Faraday Institute, author of 'Creation or Evolution: do we have to chose?' and co-author (with Nick Spencer) of 'Rescuing Darwin.' We also talk to Ranald Macaulay from Christian Heritage Cambridge, author of 'Rescuing Darwin or wrecking the Faith?'
