Facing the Challenge of Other Faiths
Encountering people of other faiths is a hot issue in today's world: religious extremism is growing around the world. At the same time, hostility towards people of all faiths is increasing, and followers of Christ are often accused of being intolerant and bigoted. How can we handle the challenges presented by other faiths and by growing intolerance?
This new course from Focus will help you and your home group, cell group, or Adult Sunday School class to think through the issues involved in a thoroughly biblical way.

In eight fifty-minute sessions, the course covers:
- Only one way? What does the Bible say?
- Many faiths - are we in a new and unusual situation, or is it normal to be surrounded by people of other faiths?
- A question of truth - does the claim that there's only one God, and that we can only come to this God through Jesus Christ 'make sense'?
- How intolerant is that? What should our attitude be towards people of other faiths - and how should we respond to claims that we're arrogant and intolerant?
- What on Earth is God doing? An overview of what the Bible says about God's mission to the world - and our part in his mission
- The world on our doorstep - how do we encounter people of other faiths today?
- Sharing our faith - is faith a private matter, or should we expect to be able to share what we believe in public?
- Called to suffer? What should we do when the 'laws of the land' cut across our freedom to share our faith?
