'Seize the Day' podcast #8 - September 2009: Roger Sutton talks about how his church involved their local community with them in mission to Uganda. (18 mins)
I met the mayor of Jinja, which is the second largest city in Uganda, and he asked whether they would be twinned with our borough, our city in Trafford. I said, 'when I meet our mayor I'll ask,' not even thinking I'd ever meet our mayor. But as it happened, six months later I did meet the incoming mayor for Trafford - a 76 year old man from quite a deprived area. I asked him whether he'd like to go to Uganda, and he said 'yes.''
In this podcast, we're talking to Roger Sutton (recently pastor of Altrincham Baptist Church) about how they involved their local community with them in mission to Uganda.

Also in this programme we're starting a short series of features on using films in outreach: John Ayrton talks to Richard Blakely about the film 'Coraline' (reviewed here), and David Couchman reviews Tony Watkins' book 'Focus: the art and soul of cinema.'
