'Seize the Day' podcast #7 - August 2009: Tony Whittaker talks about using the Internet for evangelism.' (15 mins)
'They were watching TV. They saw a TV advert for Truthmedia.com's outreach site 'Power to Change,' so they went and looked at the site; they emailed the site's follow-up system and asked for help; the site linked them with a local church who sent somebody over to speak with them... Kevin - the husband - seems to have come to faith very quickly. They both started attending church. Kathy, I think, took several months... Certainly their lives were in a mess. Kevin said he was very much into pornography and drinking. They were quite desperate.'
In this podcast, we're talking to Tony Whittaker, editor of the Internet Evangelism Day web site, about using the World Wide Web for outreach.
Also in this programme John Ayrton and David Couchman talk about some of the practical issues we need to face when we connect with people's spirituality today.
