'Seize the Day' podcast #3 - April 2009: Bryan Knell talks about churches taking ownership of mission. (18 mins)
'Oh,' he said, 'we've got this link with a church in Portugal. I've been out there and half my congregation has been out there. This church in Portugal has built an orphanage, and we've helped to fund some of the furniture and buy things for the orphanage...' I couldn't get him to stop about this thing in Portugal. I'm not saying by any means that every church should have a direct link with a church in another country, but what was so obvious was that this church owned this mission. Ownership was strong.'
Bryan Knell is Church Relations Director at Global Connections, the network of UK Mission Agencies.
